Authors are fully responsible for the paper’s originality and for the correctness of its subject-matter, language and formal attributes. Author’s statement should be enclosed declaring that the paper has not been published anywhere else.

When submitting a paper, the authors have to respect an active Call for Papers. In case of special issue, the authors must follow additional conditions, if specified. They are also responsible for applying all requirements that are included in the journal’s paper template. The article topic must be in line with the journal's focus.

The user has to be registered in the system before the first using, after that he log on with own login and password.

Paper structure

Paper title – a concise and comprehensible title reflecting the paper content, not longer than 80 characters, in English.

Authors – presented with the first name and the surname. In case of more authors from several institutions, the number corresponding with the same number in a list of places of works (see further) should be presented at their surname.

Authors´ place of work – introduces the official English name of institution. In case of several authors from different places of work, a number corresponding with the same number in a list of authors is presented at their place of work.

Abstract – a short summary of the whole paper including a clearly defined aim, used methods and results. A length should be maximally 150 words. Stylistically, whole sentences, not slogans, should be used; without any abbreviations and quotation of publications. A dedication to a research grant within solution of which the paper is elaborated, is nbsp;recommended.

Key words – maximally 7 words describing the fundamental of the paper (solved problems).

Introduction – should contain main reasons for realization of the research, aims of the work as well as review of current knowledge of solved problems.

Materials and methods – introduction of all procedures and used materials. Ways of data quality verification. Used analytical and statistical methods. Only original methods have to be explained in details, in other cases original papers have to be referenced and, if relevant, the differences from the original works might be briefly commented.

Results and discussion – presentation of results should be transparent, preferably expressed in the form of tables and graphs with an appropriate commentary; the author should compare achieved results with data published by other authors. Here, it is essential to emphasize the significance of obtained results and eventually to open new questions to be solved. It is recommended to include a brief evaluation at the end of the section – whether and how the set target was achieved, what are the conclusions of the authors etc.

Conclusion - around a half of page.

Author´s address – the author should include his or her full name, including all academic, scientific and pedagogic titles and detailed address of the institution with postal code, phone, fax numbers and/or e-mail address and ORCID (if author has). The mentioned author is responsible for any correspondence with the editorial office.

References – a list of referred reviewed periodicals in alphabetical order according to the surname of the first authors (around 30 references, max. 40). Works which are not cited in the text cannot be introduced. Please, introduce ISBN, ISSN, DOI.

Submission of papers

Papers could be submitted continuously, all requirements are included in the paper template.

Please, send the paper as a full text version (including tables, graphs, pictures, etc.) for review purpose. Graphs, figures and tables must be sent as separate files too. Papers are accepted only in .doc, .docx or .rtf formats. Needed formats for figures are JPG, PNG or TIF (in resolution 300 dpi). Graphs have to be also sent in .xls or .xlsx format including source data. All graphs and figures have to be numbered in the order of their placement in the text.

Maximal length of the whole paper including pictures, graphs, tables and references should be 16 norm-pages (1800 marks - spaces included).

The file with paper text has to be named with a surname of the first author without diacritic marks. (an example: novak.doc).

Other files (graphs, pictures) have to be named with a surname of the first author without diacritic marks; further a type of supplement (a graph, a picture) and the ordinal number of appropriate type of supplement follow. All words are separated with the underline mark "_:"for example: novak_graph_1.xls, novak_graph_2.xls, novak_pic_1.jpg).

Before dispatch, all created files are inserted in one ZIP archive via electronic submission only named with a surname of the first author (an example:

Review process

All papers are submitted to a blind peer review process before publication. Reviewer’s overall recommendation can be as follows:

  • Accept the paper without revision. The paper is forwarded to the Editorial Board to be accepted for publication in the journal.
  • Accept the paper with a minor revision. Reviewers’ suggestions and comments are sent via notification email to the corresponding author‘s e-mail address. The authors should correct the paper according to the comments and re-submit the paper again via electronic submission system; all changes should be described in order for the editor to be able to follow them and confirm their adoption. It is author’s right to refuse some reviewers’ comments; in such a case, s/he has to clarify his/her viewpoints in an accompanying text document that is submitted together with the final version of the paper.
  • Reject the paper. The paper will not be published in the journal. Reviewers’ reasons for the rejection of the paper are sent via notification email to the corresponding author‘s e-mail address.

As soon as the paper is published, the corresponding author obtains a notification email for correction of final version of the paper in Portable Document Format (.pdf) for download via electronic submission system. After approving and correction is needed to confirm the declaration of the author.

The submission of a paper will imply that, if accepted for publication, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in any language, without the consent of the Publisher. Before publication, authors will be asked to complete a copyright release, giving the publisher permission to publish the paper in a specific issue of this journal. Overall copyright ownership of the paper, however, remains with the author/s. It is the authors' responsibility to obtain written permission to quote material that has appeared in another publication.
